Simpler is better.

You might have noticed an imbalance: there are too many resources out there and not enough guidance on how to apply what you’ve learned.

Parenting From The Floor clears away the clutter and replaces it with evidence-based direction tailored to each unique child, family, and situation.

  • “I reached out to Jess when I was seeing recurring struggles with my oldest child and I needed help as a parent. Jess listened, gathered resources for me, and presented them in a simple and straightforward way that was easy to apply. She made an overwhelming struggle become less intimidating, simply by switching my approach and perspective in how I parent. She not only helped me, but helped my relationship with my son become so much stronger and intentional. So grateful for Jess and all her support for our family!”

    Kaitlyn, Chicago-area parent of 4

  • "Jess is an amazing listener who creates a comfortable and inviting space to share ideas. She is an excellent resource for parents, teachers, and children as she knows what it takes to prepare ourselves and our kids for future success and well-being. She offers creative, thoughtful, and connection-driven ideas to navigate relationships and build connection, acceptance, confidence, and emotional intelligence. Jess sees beyond the surface, she gets to the root of things, and heals from the inside out. She has helped equip me with the tools I need to navigate the highs and lows of both parenting and teaching. I can always rely on her!"

Ashley, Seattle-area educator and parent of 2

  • “Jess has been an invaluable support to me and my work in treating children and families. She provides both a nonjudgmental holding space and a clinical knowledge about child development and the child mind that allows me to walk away from our consultation feeling empowered and bolstered with tools. I would recommend her sevices to parents, educators, and fellow clinicians!”
